Project Communicator for Non-Profit Organization
Are you a creative communicator driven by the desire to create societal benefits? Do you want to work at the intersection of operational production and strategic project management? On behalf of our client – a central player in occupational health – we are now looking for an engaged project communicator for a full-time temporary position.
ABOUT THE POSITION
Our client is a non-profit organization owned by labor market partners. Their mission is to help Swedish workplaces create good working environments through education, information, and practical tools. They combine the non-profit purpose with commercial business acumen.
As a project communicator, you will be a sub-project leader for communication in our client's occupational health projects. You will work both operationally and strategically, closely collaborating with internal colleagues and external suppliers, ensuring that relevant information reaches the right target groups. The role is placed within the communications department and offers a broad platform for development.
This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Academic Work and work as a consultant for our client. The assignment is a temporary position for an initial 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for strategically and operationally driving communication efforts within several parallel projects, ensuring effective information dissemination and engagement among target groups, and contributing to shaping and evaluating communication initiatives.
- Be responsible for communication in various occupational health projects as a sub-project leader.
- Develop and implement communication and activity plans.
- Produce engaging content and texts for various communication channels.
- Ensure that the right information reaches relevant parties and target groups.
- Follow up and evaluate communication efforts to measure impact.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and internal experts as well as external suppliers.
- Actively contribute ideas and creativity for digital communication, including social media.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has an academic background in communication or equivalent.
- Has experience in operational communication work (preferably content production for social media).
- Has a basic understanding of project management and budget handling.
- Has excellent skills in Swedish (spoken and written).
- Has good data and system proficiency.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Good knowledge of English.
- Understanding of the Swedish model of labor relations or experience in a member-driven organization.
- Creative ability and digital competence for content production (e.g., Canva, InDesign, Photoshop, AI tools).
